The Proposal

i would like to share a very good news with all my friends here...

i have accepted zhiwei's proposal and we are going to have our ROM in Nov this year...
exact date is still unknown yet....

anyway to answer your ?? in your mind about how he did it:
here's how... hehe...

the day he proposed was 13 Jun 2008... which is exactly 1 and a half year we are together...
everything started off normally, just that we took leave that day... no special reason... just that we need to clear leave... but now tink it's only me who has no special reason lah... for him, there's a special reason... haha... :p

early in the morning, he fetch me from my place and we went to watch the movie "kungfu panda".... it was a super funny... was enjoying the movie throughout... as we went on a weekday, the price of each ticket is only $6.... and what's more, we only need to pay the price of 1 ticket as there was some 1-for-1 promotion for our card.... lucky us.... :]

in the afternoon abt 4plus, we reach sentosa....
we had purchased a promotion ticket which allow us a 1-month free entry into sentosa (but still need to pay for vehicle) and also the entry to some of the attractions in sentosa...
if we had not taken this ticket we would never went to the attractions...

he and i decided that we will go to the boring attractions 1st... and guess our 1st stop... hehe...
it's the Fort Siloso.... but although there's nothing fun and interesting to this attraction, we still went to each corner of the whole attraction.... this attraction has quite good view... and zhiwei took some good scenary pics.... this stop took us abt 1hour plus... and by the time we ended, it was almost 6...

we went straight to vivo... and we went back to shabuya's shabu-shabu.... at abt jus a little past 6pm, we were earlier than the usual dinner crowds.... and we were quite lucky again... we manage to get the seats with the sea view... and because we were like to only few customers in the restaurant, we had two to three waitresses waiting after us... one took order, another serve and arrange our table and another kindly showed us how to cook our food... one of them introduced a sake to us.... and we took it.. without looking at the price... a mistake here... haha... cos this drink cost us like 1/4 of the whole bill... it's not cheap.... haha... but it's really not bad lah... so to those who need to be on a budget yet can spend a bit, dun listen to any suggestions.... make your own decision on what you wan so that you can work within your budget... :]

we stayed at the restaurant abt 2hours... when people who came before us has left, we are still there... haha... one is because the seat is really good.. and two, we are slowly enjoying our food and each other's company.... and we continue to order food... not that we sit there with nothing.... :p

so... until here... everything looks normal right.... who would suspect anything special is going to happen..

after our dinner, we walked a bit around vivo... then tink it's too crowded, we left...
we went over to his place... and here's when it happened... hehe...

and while watching tv... he suddenly gave me a soft toy.... i was super happy and excited when i saw it....
it's not just any soft toy... it's a hand puppet cushion... what i mean is that this toy allows you to put your hand inside and you can put this cushion under your head so that you can rest your head on the desk.... but how i use this toy is not for resting head, it's more for using it as a boxing glove... haha... :p in addition another reason it can get me so excited is because this toy is out-of-stock at the shop already... i was sad when i didnt get to buy it....

so when i got this gift from him, i immediately played with it... i placed my hand into the toy and was adjusting the deepness of my hand when i felt something dropped out.... i stunned... haha...
and when zhiwei saw my look, he gave me a cheeky smile.... kns.... haha... den he still can ask me... "why? what happended?".... and me who cannot act well and yet dun wan him to get his way so fast, replied "nothing ah.... why? got something meh?" ahahaha...

well this kind of conversation didnt last long lah...cos he knows i got it le... and he took out the ring... he dint kneel or have any roses... but he asked me the question "will you marry me?".... which i gave him a nod... :p

and so this is how he proposed... :]
may not be as fantastic as some of you may have expected but i'm totally fine with it... simple yet sweet.... this is how i like it.... :D
