celebrated this day with zhiwei....
and he had the day all planned for me....
in the morning....
he gave me his present he bought.... so that i can start wearing it for the day...
a watch from dkny and a piggy soft toy from berryhip which has now sort of become both of our fav shop to purchase soft toy le :p
after which we went to east coast park to blade....
cos he knew i wanted to blade for some time le...
just that we always seem to have other things planned on the wkends....
and wkdays are not good cos we'll have to go after work....
which we are already tired already.... me esp cos i usu become brain-dead after work...
anyway he bladed with me...
and it was his 1st time trying this sport....
so i was teaching him how to blade...
although i didnt blade as much cos i was teaching him...
i was very much entertained by him...
hehe cos he immediately started sweating once on his blades...
and he made so many funny reaction blading... :p
he look so funny tryng for the 1st time...
that's why i dun mind not blading as much...
but i realise i am not a very good teacher on this... :
actually i knew this when i was teaching lin how to blade b4...
i am not good in telling how blading should be done...
and it was especially hard cos he was tall....
so his balance on the blade was harder....
also the blade he rented from uncle was not very fitting....
hurt his ankle after wearing them...
and i felt bad that he hurt his wrist cos he fell when we were going to return the blade... and although he keep saying he's alright... i jus felt bad... cos it was quite a big fall...
almost immediately after we returned his blades and went back to his car...
it started drizzling... and once we left ecp... it started pouring le...
we were super lucky we didnt get caught in the rain.... :)
cos we actually were thinking of going 2nd round but he cycle and i blade...
luckily we didnt do it...
cos we decided to go for our lunch at parkway parade....
to have the "bak kut tae" or 肉骨茶 in chinese there...
it was not as nice as the 1st time we had it there but it was still ok la...
we went back to his place to shower after our lunch....
do not want to go out for dinner all smelly and sticky...
we tot of going to ktv or play pool after our shower...
but turned out we were both tired after the blading...
so in the end we took a nap after our shower...
woke up at abt 6 and went to 1 Rochester for our dinner...
zhiwei made reservation at 630...
but tink we reached there abt 650 or 7pm ah... :p
luckily there wasn't many people there on a weekday...
so we were still able to get a plce there...
if not i tink zhiwei will be very sad...
cos it'll be the 2nd time he wasn't able to bring me there for a meal...
the 1st time was on valentine's day...
the place has a good ambience and the food that we ordered was quite good...
we ordered the mixed farmer's sauages, beef something something and chicken leg something something... (paiseh i can't remember the last 2 dishes cos their name quite long :p) but they are nice... hehe...
anyway i would recommend the place for gathering or place to relax...
it is located at bouna vista... walking distance from the mrt...
and their seating arrangement is good for big or small groups and couples...
and they have a few areas with different theme for you to choose from...
i do not know about other themes.... we just went to their "garden" theme...
and it was good... quite pleasant and they play nice music...
after dinner...
we went to marina square for our ktv which we missed in the afternoon...
reached there about 9plus ba... i tink...
& we sang till i cannot make it... :p
we ended our singing session at about 12mn...
and he sent me home after that...
the whole day was quite well-planned...
and i was happy he was able to keep me occupied and entertained the whole day :)
