merry christmas

christmas was here and over again...
really enjoyed all the days i had in celebration of this christmas :)
thank u all who spent them together with me...
hope u enjoyed them as much as i do...

15th Dec (Friday):
gift exchange and pot luck with colleagues in office...
everybody brought or made something...
me & the ladies in the department made fruit salad and bought utensils & canned fruits...
in addition to what we brought...
there were also nuggets, ham, biscuits with toppings, japanese jelly, pizza, sushi, cake, ice cream, bee hoon, cup cake, chicken wings, salad, otah, drinks (alcoholic & non-alcoholic)...
ate quite a lot... and was very full after...
to the end of the eating... we had the gift exchange...
i gave my gift receiver, Jaycee, a watch & a bear handphone accessory...
& i received a gift bought from body shop...

22nd Dec (Friday):
i celebrated with lin & joce...
we met on this date as we usually leave the day before and after christmas free for joce...
cos she's the only christian among the 3 of us... and we want to make it on a date where all 3 of us are comfortable...
me & lin took leave on the 22nd...
and we agreed to go down to orchard to meet joce for lunch as she's not able to apply leave as year end is busy period for accountants...
however, last min lin had to meet her mum so only i met joce for lunch...
lin came at about 3pm... & i met her at the bus stop outside far east plaza...
den we walked a bit and i got a call from joce that she was able to leave work alrdy...
she got official half day off from her CEO (not really as it is about 4pm)
& since we have much time now...
we decided to have our dinner at changi...
& we started eating from 5plus 6 if i rem correctly...
hehe... & we did our small gift exchange when we are waiting for our desserts...
i got a german language dvd from lin & joce gave me earrings+necklace+handphone holder...
i got lin a wallet & joce lee hom's concert dvd... den i made a card for both of them...
lin received a set of starbucks minature from joce but she didnt managed to get a gift for joce so joce's gift from lin will be postponed till nxt year joce's birthday?? hee :p
den after dinner we went to starbucks for coffee...
and we leave about changi about 9plus 10? i tink...
before we reach woodlands... we decide to stop over at causeway point...
to see if there are any shows we might want to catch...
and between night in the museum and eragon...
we finally chose eragon...
which was shown at 12mn and ended at 2am...

23rd Dec (Saturday):
went to Li-Lian's house at about 12nn to celebrate christmas as well as her son, Javiar's 1yr birthday... stayed there until 3plus 4 and we left together with the rest of the colleagues who were there that day... those who went were: chris, trudy, patrick, sabrina, tze chen, xuan yi...
after which.. me & zw went marina sq to walk around and we met ade & sunny & friends for dinner at paulaner munchen at millenia walk... & we went to watch the curse of the golden flower at suntec... that ended about 11plus...

24th Dec (Sunday):
pot luck at archery and fun competition where we get to shoot without a sight... was very fun and interesting as it was very different from my normal shooting... and i managed to win once & got a calendar as my prize... haha... better than nothing :p the food was very nice... & i like the log cake & the apple strudel... very tasty... hee :) now talking about it makes me hungry for them again :p
after lunch cum tea break at archery... went over to zw's place take shower den we went to have dinner at s11 & play pool in amk... won him in all the games we played but it's cos he give chance one... but still feel good winning him... hee :p we went to orchard after pool cos tot of going there to have a feel of christmas but we gave up when we reach borders... cos both of us cant stand the crowd... in the end we just went into borders to look at books... haha :p but this only lasted us for a while and we left orchard after that... & we exchanged our gifts in his car in sembawang park :p i got a pair of soft toys & a necklace from him & i bought him an adidas t-shirt... now the soft toys he gave me are on my desk in the office :)

25th Dec (Christmas):
went to 4th uncle's place for dinner & got a gift from aunt... didnt expect to be given any gifts when i went there actually... so was very delighted to receive one... hee my 2nd brother was jealous when he didnt get any :p & more jealous when he saw that the gift was a mng handbag... i'm not a very branded kind of person so i didnt realise the handbag was branded until my 2nd brother told me so... hahah :p anyway after dinner we went home & we played mahjong with mum... hee she has had "itchy" hands for quite some time le... cos it's quite rare now that we are all home to play with her...

26th Dec (Tuesday):
me, zw, eldest brother all took leave on this date...
went to grandma's place to visit her and to pass uncle vincent's letters to him...
stayed there for quite a while cos it's been quite sometime since eldest brother saw grandma...
one is becos of his work and also cos it's quite inconvenient from our home to grandma's new place unless there's transportation... and luckily zw drives :)
after our visit we went to civic center ntuc to do some grocery shopping as eldest brother decided that he would cook spagatti for us for dinner :)
it was quite well done... but not very filling... & somemore the sauce made us hungry faster....
so in the end while we were playing mahjong (again... cos this time eldest brother was also around), dad made sandwiches & salad for all of us... taste very good too... especially since all were hungry again... hehe :)

ok this is all that went through for my christmas :)
