had a gathering with some of the councillors.... as usual only a few could make it... but at least i got to see people who i havent met for quite some time le like farha, bayu, faizal, tracy, and tingli... others who made it yesterday included anis, nora, lin and nick (who came later after the lunch and he arrived with his girlfren... she's called joy... hopefully i didnt get her name wrong :p cos i'm not good at remembering names ah...)
so anyway here's how the day unfolded :D
time to meet was set at 1.30pm at bugis mrt station... it was changed from 12.30pm so that anis can come straight after her work... but given that we are JIans... it was typical that we didnt meet at the designated time... except bayu... i was the 2nd to arrive... reached about 1.45pm... though i tot there wld be ppl waiting alrdy... i tot too highly on the rest in this case la... tracy was late cos she went to her office to grab some things b4 coming to meet us... came only bit later than me... anis poor thing cos she tot she'll be very late so she took a cab down after her work only to realise that she forgot that she's meeting with her fellow JIans who will always be late as well... she came at abt 2pm i tink... can't really remember the time... cos faizal and farha only got on the mrt at about 1.15pm... they arrived when we were alrdy started our lunch at the restuarant... tingli was still at home when i called her at abt the time i reached bugis... she came jus bit later than faizal and farha... lin came after tingli and the moment she came her food also arrived... lucky of her cos faizal and farha waited for their food for quite some time and all their food came jus when lin's was served... nora was the last one to arrive... & i was told that she only knew abt this lunch thingy last min by anis... faizal kenna reprimanded that he didnt inform her by anis... & he was so afraid of nora that day... hehe... funny...
4 of us (bayu, tracy, anis & me) were the 1st in the siam kitchen... we ordered the 14 course meal for each of us so that we can slowly eat while waiting for the rest to come... 1st time i had so many dishes in front of me... but at least we were able to clear most of them... with the help of tracy who keep serving us food :D and bayu who ate most of the food... he quite poor thing cos tracy was sitting right in front of him and she kept filling his plate with food... haha...
during the meal... faizal told about his story of flying chair during his temp job at this school... cant believe he really did that... so violent... he was doing temp teaching previously and he said the students didnt bother when he was standing right in front of the class and they continued to have cant-be-bothered attidtude even after he called out a few times for them to arrange their tables and chairs in straight rows... he said after that he couldnt take it anymore and there was a chair around him at the moment so he picked it up and fling it to the end of the class... the whole class kept quiet after that and since he got their attention, he told them to get into their rows... wad he did was something that would happen on tv... dunno wad i would have done in his shoes... maybe i'll fling a table?? hahaha :p
anyway after the meal, farha took some pics with her camera... and these are the only ones we took... sigh...
bayu went to settle the bill after and he refused to accept our payment for our share of the lunch... so we decided to get him something as a farewell... since he'll be leaving spore at the end of the month... we decided to move on to marina sq where we can either play pool, bowling or watch movie... but tingli and tracy had to leave 1st as tingli need to get back to office and tracy had to attend her d&d in the night... so she need to go prepare herself :D so anyway the rest of us walked to marina... i dunno about the rest but the walk was gd cos can digest wad i had eaten... hehe...
lin had to meet her supplier 1st so the rest of us went to the pool place 1st... i play pool but i felt bad for anis cos she dun... and though she tried to play a game... it was stressful for her... lin also felt the same way and we shld have play bowling instead... at least bowling jus need to throw the ball out... hehe :p
1st game i played with bayu... tink he havent warm up and he give chance to me... so i won him... hehe... lucky cos i know he's very good at the game... faizal wanted to take pics but kenna told off by the uncle of the pool place to put away the camera cos he say we arent allowed to take pics in the place... dunno why cant la... but nw tinking back... we could have used our camera in our handphones to take lor... sigh... but too bad la... i didnt tink about it then :p nick came when we were playing... and he brought his girlfren along... she didnt play with us though... went off to play arcade games :)
well we ended our group gathering at about 6plus if i remember correctly... and we bought bayu a sweater which he can bring over to canada... hope he likes it and uses it often :D
farha, bayu and faizal left 1st... me and lin wanted to stay longer at marina to play pool somemore... nora, nick and joy joined us for dinner.... went to pizza hut... ate till quite full... and i was glad we had dinner cos we got to talk to joy and we managed to click during dinner and had fun chatting and "suaning" nick... hehe... & we planned to get joce out another time and then the 4 of us will attack (= suan) nick together... haha... then after we split the bill outside pizza hut... lin went downstairs to buy her low-fat vanilla latte from starbucks... then after nora had to leave so the 4 of us went back to the pool place... the uncle saw us and said:"back again.. haha"... i wanted to msg korina and peggy to come meet us but i dunno how long we'll be at the place so in the end i didnt msg them... but they also didnt msg me to ask me if we still around... if they msged me like wad nick did then maybe we could have tot up something and maybe had met up or something... well in the end the 4 of us played till 9plus i tink... then while walking to the bus stop, lin and I invited both of them to join us during christmas where lin, joce and me every yr will meet up one of the days and have dinner and exchange gifts to one another... they havent replied yet but christmas still a long way so see how la... if they wan then they are welcomed to join us for that day... but have to come prepared with gifts... hehe :p

lastly... to bayu: will miss you after you leave for canada so keep in touch and updated on your life over there :D take care and hope all will be well for you...
