morning, i was supposed to meet up with Lin to study before heading to Fort Canning for the concert... however, this girl, as usual, was late.... I found a table in the library cafe so I started my studying while waiting for her....
After a while, a lady came up to me & asked if she can share the table with me while she wait for someone who's coming later.... as i dun need such a big table for myself & Lin hadn't come yet so i allowed her to share the table with me :) the lady was very friendly & she introduced herself & her husband who came later..... I forget their names liao... haiz... as usual, i'm not good with remembering names :p after a while, the lady offered a pear to me.... i was a bit taken back as i never expected that from a stranger whom i only met for like not more than half an hour... haha.... as i was still in shock, i rejected the offer but she & her husband keep insisting that i hav one... which i did take in the end as they are quite persistent about it... haha.... & after i took one of it, the husband took it back & said that he will wash all the pears 1st before we eat them.... i was so pai seh.... but the lady said it's ok one cos her husband have nothing to do there except to accompany her... haha....
anyway, Lin came like an hour later & when she came, she told me she's not studying today so that's y she did not come at the time we were supposed to meet... luckily i did not wait for her to come to start studying ah.... haha.... at the time, the couple at my table planned to leave, saying they have to go somewhere.... but after a while, they decided that the lady will stay & the husband will leave by himself.... was quite blur & dunno wad's going on at the time.... Lin wanted me to accompany her go buy her stuff but i said i wanted to carry on with my studies so i asked her to go buy her things herself & i will join her when i'm done with my readings....
at around 3 plus we went to Fort Canning.... once there, we sat outside at the entrance of the concert area.... we cannot make up our mind whether to buy the tickets to go in or to forgo the concert & go to Far East to shop... hehe... well in the end, Far East to shop won... but Lin was quite sad that she was not able to watch the concert as she had been looking forward to it for weeks.... at Far East, we did our "window-shopping".... our "window-shopping" really is "window-shopping" as me & Lin didn't even step into shop to look at things.... haha.... this has been our way of shopping for some time liao.... hahaha... a very strange way to shop....
we met Joce who came after her church service at the bus stop outside of Far East & we took the bus she's on to City Hall... & we had our dinner at Sakura... we had kang kong, hotplate beancurd, hotplate black pepper chicken & sweet & sour fried fish..... *slurp* delicious :p after a full dinner, we decided it was still quite early to go home on a friday so we made our way to the Pacific something to have some coffee/tea, etc.... on the way to the cafe, we met Ryan & Gabriel (Lin's part-timers at work).... we chatted a bit & Lin finally got to introduce her part-timers to the two of us as she was talking a lot about them & we never got to know who's who....
anyway at the cafe, we immediately went to their sofa seats & fell straight into them... & we did not want to get out of them.... haha.... after a while, with no choice, we got out of the very comfortable seats & went to buy our drinks & cheesecakes.... Lin got her coffee, Joce got her tea & i got a blended juice... me & Joce bought each a cheese cake to share.... in the end, only hers was finished.... mine, they said was too thick for them to digest.... we stayed there for quite some time until all of us were quite gone-d, especially Joce, who had a slight headache.... we left the place & walked to Suntec where we called & took a cab.... while waiting for our cab, Lin got a bit high from her coffee i tink & become crazy... ahaha... as Joce was still having headache, we all didn't talk much in the cab.... we headed to Lin's place 1st, then to Joce's & lastly to mine.... & this is how we ended our Sunday.... :)
